Step by Step Evaluation and Treatment

Everything you need to know about evaluating and treating feeding challenges in babies at the developmental stage of introducing solids

Perfect for…

An Early Intervention Agency

that wants more therapists to be able to provide feeding therapy

instead of waiting for the one therapist with experience to come back from maternity leave.

A Speech Language Pathologist

who wants be prepared for the questions parents are (always) asking

instead of feeling overwhelmed when it comes to taking on feeding therapy cases

An Occupational Therapist

who wants to develop a specialized, high-demand niche

because when your skills are specific, you attract specific clients..

Feeding cases can be overwhelming,
and many therapists turn them down, not because they aren’t capable, but because they don’t have a clear framework.
Introducing Solids
gives you a comprehensive, practical understanding that replaces overwhelm with direction, so you can step into feeding therapy cases with more confidence and less second-guessing.

Your Presenter

Hi! I’m Shalva Sauer, MS, CCC-SLP,
feeding and swallowing specialist here in Lakewood, NJ for 18 years. With allergies and digestive disorders becoming increasingly common in children, the need for pediatric feeding and swallowing support is on the rise. That’s why I’d like to chart an easy path forward for therapists who want to develop real expertise in pediatric feeding — so every child with feeding challenges can get the valuable help they need. I’m excited to share with you my Texture Building™ oral sensorimotor treatment approach and the T.A.S.T.E™ session structure, both used by the excellent therapists I’ve trained.
